Hi, my name is Melissa Keil and I offer comprehensive natural childbirth classes that are designed to educate and prepare parents for birth, postpartum, breastfeeding and for immediate newborn baby care. I have been teaching about childbirth for over 16 years and have helped hundreds of families in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I am a Certified Bradley Method® Childbirth Instructor, a Certified Birth Doula through DONA Intl. and I am a Certified Postpartum Doula through Childbirth Intl. I am also a 2011 DASC (Doula Association of Southern California) award winner. Lastly, I am also CPR & BLS Certified as a healthcare professional and I am certified in Acupressure for Labor as well but most importantly I am a Christian and a Mom. I take Kaiser, IEHP and accept most other private insurance as well as Medi-cal for my Doula services. I serve Murrieta, Temecula, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Corona, Norco, Menifee, Riverside, Hemet, Winchester, Wildomar, Fallbrook and all of the The Inland Empire with a passion to help and guide pregnant women and their coach’s through the process of natural childbirth. My classes are fun and informative and very hands on. They are held in a semi private setting with no more than 5 couples per class. This gives the parents a chance to get to know one another and it makes the class feel intimate and comfortable, not commercialized. I believe this is important and makes my classes special. If life has brought you to where you will need interventions at birth I will help you to ensure that you feel confident and prepared for your journey. I support you in your wishes in whatever they may be. I have also given birth three times myself and have experienced an all natural unmedicated labor and birth with almost no pain at all with the birth of my third son and I believe with the proper preparation you can too! Birth does not have to be chaotic, scary and loud. It can be a calm, peaceful experience and even healing experience. My passion is to help you on your journey to be confident, peaceful and relaxed.
