Hi, my name is Melissa Keil. I am the owner and founder of Birth Journey Services in Riverside County, CA. I offer comprehensive natural childbirth classes that are designed to educate and prepare parents for birth, postpartum, breastfeeding and immediate newborn baby care. I have been teaching about childbirth for over 16 years and have helped hundreds of families in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I am a Certified Bradley Method® Childbirth Instructor, a Certified Birth Doula through DONA Intl. and I am a Certified Postpartum Doula through Childbirth Intl. I am also a 2011 DASC (Doula Association of Southern California) award winner. Lastly, I am also CPR & BLS Certified as a healthcare professional and I am certified in Acupressure for Labor but most important I am a Christian and a Mom. I take Kaiser, IEHP and accept most other private insurance as well as Medi-cal for my Doula services. I serve Murrieta, Temecula, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Corona, Norco,Menifee, Riverside, Hemet, Winchester, Wildomar, Fallbrook and all of the The Inland Empire as well with a passion to help and guide pregnant women and their coach’s through the process of natural childbirth. If life has brought you to where you will need interventions at birth I will help you to ensure that you feel confident and prepared for your journey. I support you in your wishes in whatever they may be. I have also given birth three times myself and have experienced an unmedicated labor and birth with almost no pain at all and I believe with the proper preparation you can too! Birth does not have to be chaotic and loud. Your body knows what to do and my passion is to help you to have a journey that is peaceful.
